Ann Curry
Ann Curry was born in the United States and is an accomplished photographer as well as a journalist. Over the past forty-five years she has focused her efforts on the reporting of human suffering, especially in natural disasters and wars. Her father met the mother of her in Japan when he was a stationed in Japan following World War II. As a result of her father's military service the family moved several times. Curry completed her high school education at Ashland Oregon. Her graduation with a journalist degree from the University of Oregon in 1978. She is likely to have acquired an empathy-based communication style because of her experiences with diverse cultures in her early years.
